Day 6 & 7
We made our way out of the jungle and to Caye Caulker island. No cars are allowed and we had to take a one hour ferry to get here. We have seen a bunch of wildlife. Including, iguanas, tarpon, stingrays, sea horse, nurse sharks, manatee, and a lot of fish! One more day and then we travel home.
Day 5
Today we went into caves to find Mayan artifacts. We had to swim in the opening of the cave and then walk/climb over and under rocks to make it to a spot that the Mayans found sacred. Here we found all sorts of Mayan artifacts such as pottery they left behind. It was amazing!
Day 4
We saw a beautiful sun set last night in Flores, Guatemala. This morning we crossed back into Belize. We arrived in San Ignacio and spent the afternoon riding horses on a cattle ranch. We even found some Mayan Ruins on the ranch.
Day 3
We traveled to Tikal this morning and had an amazing time. So much wonderful history! More to come.
Day 2
We traveled to Guatemala today and we were able to enjoy some Mayan ruins at Yaxha!
Our plane is here and ready to go!
